Palmheld PC based Air Velocity Meter
GrayWolf Sensing Solutions of Trumbull, CT introduces an air velocity probe, along
with application software, for HP Jornada™ and Compaq Ipaq™ Pocket PC™s. The AS201
probe is designed for commercial airspeed and volume flow measurement
applications such as air handling system balancing, fumehood face velocity testing and
indoor air quality surveys.
A thermal (or “hotwire”) sensor is mounted on a 34 inch (extended) telescoping probe
that incorporates patent pending technology to eliminate internal cabling. The probe
connects to the palmheld computer where airspeed, temperature and volume flow may
simultaneously be displayed and data-logged in a choice of unit symbols. GrayWolf’s
WolfSense™ application software unleashes the power of the Pocket PCs to provide a
broad range of features including:

The hotwire probe, software, probe pouch, computer belt case and HP Jornada Pocket PC
are available together as a complete kit from GrayWolf; the DirectSense™ AIR air
